I had a version of this image printed poster sized as a possible backdrop to go up behind a model ship that my Dad recently received as a gift. I snapped the picture several years ago from the Seattle to Bremerton ferry. This bridge, the Manette Bridge is currently under construction.  It looks pretty good from this distance, but apparently it is "structurally deficient and functionally obsolete."

On Thanksgiving morning I was lulled ever so gently from my slumber by the sound of approximately 9000 drummers outside my window. They were getting ready for the Thanksgiving Day parade outside. Luckily as soon as I realized what the noise was I got really excited and set up a timelapse out the window. This is a series of stills from the timelapse photos, if you look real closely you can see the very large group of mini ponies passing by.

This is a composition created from a bunch of plates taken from google maps several years ago. The amazing satellites that google gets its images from just happened to be taking images above Maple Lake during the filming of 'The Lake House.' You can clearly see the set house that was built on the lake specifically for the movie. It only existed for a couple months. Based on the number of production vehicles parked these photos had to be taken during the couple weeks that the production was filming at the lake. If look at the current images of Maple Lake, you can see that the structure has been torn down and replaced by a dock that is open to the public.

Recently came across a set of pictures I took of me cutting my hair. I had been growing my hair for a while specifically to harvest it so that it can be made into a toupee that I will use later on in life when I'm bald. I guess the laser eyebeamicles and glowing trianglatrons are helping me see into the future. Or I'm just having fun jumping onto an aesthetic bandwagon.
