The Windy City Rollers

I had no idea that roller derby was so awesome. Well maybe I felt like it was, but had no first hand knowledge.

It turns out that it is awesome. I wish that I had seen more of the season.

I saw The Ivy King Cup Championship tonight and was more excited to watch this than any other sporting event in recent memory.

The rules although seemingly perplexing are really pretty easy to understand. Once you watch a couple jams you sort of get the idea.

The Fury hung onto their title for the second year that it was a title to hang onto. We were cheering for The Fury because Julie's sister is on the team.

A good time was had by all. I highly recommend going to see your local Roller Derby, wherever you live.
