Writing this while flying on an airplane i can't help but think about Dan Savage's recent post about how he plays a sick mind game with himself while flying. He tries to figure out whether it would be better to die in a crash while the plane is taking off or landing. Those are the most dangerous times apparently. I may have made up my mind. Since the dude behind me keeps putting his sock wrapped foot on armrest, an experience i could have skipped.
