I love the idea of having a crest, but never seem to be able to complete one that I feel like I can attach to myself in any meaningful way. The process of creating a crest is much more interesting to me. Picking symbolic imagery, it has the potential of being narrative, hopeful. It is almost like a sigil, you pile up ideas all in one spot and can look at it and meditate on the idea, or group that it represents. This one doesn't have much of a concept behind it. Gibberish mostly and pulled straight out of my sketchbook with the exception of the feather texture that I added to the bird. A bird that is apparently one small obstacle away from space travel.
